Anna Hartford
I'm a writer and researcher based in Cape Town.
My essays and short stories have appeared in The Paris Review Daily, N+1, The Threepenny Review, The Kenyon Review, Critical Quarterly & The Yale Review, among others.
I'm currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Neuroscience Institute at the University of Cape Town, and a Research Fellow in the Unit for Social and Political Ethics at Stellenbosch University, where I co-convene the Unit's MPhil programme.
My research interests include applied and moral epistemology, culpability for belief and ignorance, applied ethics, philosophy of psychiatry, & neuroethics. For academic papers please see here.
